Spherical WonderlandSpherical Wonderland is an evening of education, poetry, music, refreshments and community co-sponsored by Simple Living Institute, Inc. and the City of Orlando. Spherical Wonderland ran for five years, 2002-2007, and was discontinued by the City of Orlando Parks Division due to budget cutbacks. Each month an individual who had a positive environmental impact through their vision for our planet is showcased, and attendees learn about the featured person's vision and life. Ideas and poetry are shared during an open-mic session, during which all are invited to participate. Earth-inspired music is played by a local musician or ensemble, with a different musical act each month. Home-made healthy and wholesome refreshments are provided. Bring your own mug for bottomless hot tea! 
Simple Living Institute developed this program in conjunction with the City of Orlando to enhance the programs available at local community centers. Spherical Wonderland is about more than creative expression -- it's also about community.
