Annual Benefit ConcertOur Sixth Annual Benefit Concert was held Saturday, April 5th, 2008, at Shine On Yoga. The event was a huge success and we were able to raise over $500 for our educational programs. Click the photo to visit the photo gallery from the event. A big thank you goes out to all the benefit concert attendees, musicians, speakers, raffle donors, and to Amber and Henry Melendy for hosting and planning the event. Thank you! About the Annual Benefit ConcertEach year we hold the Benefit Concert as our sole fundraiser of the year. In addition to generating funds, the Benefit Concert is an exercise in community-building, and the emphasis is on bringing together local musicians, businesses, and residents. As an organization, we focus on program-making, not money-making, throughout the year. The majority of the funding for our annual budget comes from our regular member and board member dues. The money raised at the Benefit Concert directly supports our core programs, helping us to provide our activities and workshops at low or no cost to the public. Past Benefit Concerts
